Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for supporting The 98% by shopping with us! All our merchandise is printed on demand through Printful, which means each item is made especially for you after your order is placed.

Because of this, we kindly ask that you consider your purchase carefully before ordering - as we cannot restock or resell returned items without significant cost to our not-for-profit.

1. Damaged, misprinted, or defective items

If your product arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.
Include:

  • A photo clearly showing the issue

  • Your order number

We’ll work with Printful to replace the item or issue a refund at no additional cost to you.

2. Change of mind / sizing / design preference

As each product is made to order, Printful unfortunately does not offer refunds or exchanges for reasons such as:

  • Changing your mind

  • Ordering the wrong size or colour

  • Preferring a different design

If you still wish to return your item for one of these reasons, we can accept it; however, please note that The 98% will need to cover all associated costs, including the original production cost, as Printful does not reimburse for these returns.

Because of this we ask you to please check sizing charts and product details carefully before ordering to help avoid any disappointment.

3. Refunds

Approved refunds (for defective or damaged items) will be issued to your original payment method once processed by Printful.

4. Shipping issues

Once your order leaves the Printful facility, it is handled by third-party carriers. If your order goes missing or is delayed, please contact us and we’ll liaise with Printful to investigate.

5. Legal rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. Consumers in the UK and EU are protected under applicable consumer protection laws, including the right to receive goods that are of satisfactory quality and as described.
